N:Philanthropy x Taylor Swift

The Challenge

n:philanthropy is a clothing brand dedicated to ‘giving a damn.’ They donate 10% of their net proceeds to organizations keen on pediatric cancer research and animal welfare. Just days ahead of her “Me!” single release, Taylor Swift was spotted wearing n:philanthropy’s Harlow BFF Tie Dye Tee while out and about in New York City. The Brand Agency was tasked with ensuring brand awareness for n:philanthropy when media outlets were using this image of Taylor.​

The Strategy

In order to capitalize on this pop culture moment, The Brand Agency conducted extensive media outreach on behalf of the brand. We ensured all news outlets running this image of Taylor would properly credit n:philanthropy and/or link back to the label’s website so their readers would know where to purchase the item.​​

The Result

As a result of these efforts, the Harlow BFF Tie Dye Tee sold out three times. Upon receiving this news, The Brand Agency secured stories detailing how this item has flown off shelves and when it would become available for purchase again. ​In total, The Brand Agency garnered 10,794,809,540 media impressions for n:philanthropy from top-tier fashion and entertainment news outlets like InStyle, ELLE, Page Six, Pop Sugar, Elite Daily, People, Entertainment Tonight, and more.​​
