Luca Guadagnino’s WRWWR x BIGDATA™ ART EXPERIMENT

  • Amplifying with Positive Media Coverage

The Challenge

The Brand Agency was tasked with amplifying press coverage for the BIG DATA + WE ARE WHO WE ARE art collaboration curated by cultural icon Caleb Flowers for HBO Max. This exclusive digital zine was created with behind the scenes and supplementary content from the stars of We Are Who We Are and contributions by Kid Cudi, Blood Orange, Chloë Sevigny, and more.

The Strategy

The Brand Agency flexed its Rolodex and identified strategic moves that would help amplify the art project. Through organic outreach and press seeding, we were able to secure positive coverage on multiple platforms. Our agency was able to leverage our decades-long relationships to go beyond our original media targets of focusing on niche demographics to exposing the show and art experience to a larger audience.

The Result

OVER 3.556 BILLION EARNED MEDIA IMPRESSIONS AND 16.5 MILLION ORGANIC INFLUENCER IMPRESSIONS

As a result of The Brand Agency’s efforts, the WRWWRxBigData collaboration was covered by leading cultural outlets like HypeBeast and UPROXX, and picked up by national entertainment news publications like People Magazine, Us Weekly, In Touch Weekly, and more with a total of over 150 million media impressions. Our team also secured organic unboxing moments from our target influencers who shared the digital art experiment with their followers. As a result, the press and social media action created a sold-out moment for the purchasable items.
